For my holiday tablescape this year, I wanted to use metallic colors to create a glamorous tablescape. Last year I used a nontraditional color palate for my Winter Wonderland tablescape and I wanted to go back to simple and elegant colors this year. My inspiration came from gold sequin fabric that I used for the tablecloth and gold and silver plates from Crate and Barrel . This is a table that is appropriate for Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's. These beautiful pictures were taken by my very talented friend, Laura.
I bought this beautiful potted manzanita tree and draped strands of crystals from it's branches. The tree is lighted which only illuminated more light.
I displayed white rose balls in silver and gold mercury glass vases.
I draped the middle of the table with gold, bronze, and silver layered tinsel. Metallic ornaments were wired to the tinsel.
I kept the place setting simple. With simple platinum napkins, silver chargers, so the silver and gold dinner plates would "pop".
